Beveroth's Texaco Station
303 W. Lincoln Way Morrison, IL 61270
Between 1946 and 1963, this was the home of Beveroth's Texaco Station, founded by Henry Beveroth and his wife, Martha. Henry was raised by German immigrant parents on a farm in Mount Pleasant, Whiteside County. As an adult, he began his career as a gas station attendant at a Texaco Oil station in Morrison. He owned and operated this station until his passing in 1963. Until 2022, it was continually operated as either a service station or an auto sales business. It has most recently been converted into Morrison Mocha, a locally owned café operated in partnership with Brent's Firehouse Coffee and Krumpets.
