Constructed c. 1933, this stunning stone-clad, quintessential Art Deco building is the former home of Bomberg's Eagle Bakery. The bakery was owned by Otto Bomberg, a German immigrant, and his family until 1952. In that year, Charles F. Kirgis opened the Eagle Liquor Store in the building and installed the signature green neon sign seen in the picture. The location remains the Eagle Liquor Store today.
