Duke & Lee's is a former Texaco service station constructed in 1970. It was owned and operated by the father-son team, Duke and Lee Singer, who first established the business in 1955. The service station had gas pumps and offered mechanical services. In addition, Duke & Lee operated a tow service that picked up cars with dead batteries and flat tires 24 hours a day. In the late 1990s, Duke retired and was replaced by his grandson, Scott. The business closed at this location in 2016-2017, and the site is proposed for redevelopment as affordable housing.
