Lincoln Highway Gazebo - Creston

110 N. Main Street Creston , IL 60113
The Creston Lincoln Highway Gazebo features panels that illustrate the history of the opening day of the Lincoln Highway in Creston, the water fountains along the highway, and the road conditions before the highway was built. The gazebo was constructed in 2009 as part of the Interpretive Gazebo Project through a National Scenic Byway Grant from the Federal Highway Administration, with support from the Village of Creston. The Lincoln Highway Gazebos mark the Illinois section of the Highway, which is the only portion of the Lincoln Highway to be designated a National Scenic Byway in its entirety.
