The Dixon Lincoln Highway Gazebo contains interpretive panels that illustrate the histories of the Dixon Arch, the 1919 Transcontinental Motor Convoy, and a general history of the Lincoln Highway. The gazebo was constructed in 2009 as part of the Interpretive Gazebo Project, funded through a National Scenic Byway Grant from the Federal Highway Administration, with support from the City of Dixon. The Lincoln Highway Gazebos mark the Illinois section of the highway, which is the only portion of the Lincoln Highway designated as a National Scenic Byway in its entirety.
