Located in Lincoln Park, the Sterling Lincoln Highway Gazebo contains interpretive panels that illustrate the histories of route planning for the Lincoln Highway, the auto industry, and the City of Sterling. The gazebo was constructed in 2009 as part of the Interpretive Gazebo Project, funded through a National Scenic Byway Grant from the Federal Highway Administration, with support from the City of Sterling. The Lincoln Highway Gazebos mark the Illinois section of the highway, which is the only portion of the Lincoln Highway designated a National Scenic Byway in its entirety.
