The Parkview Motel has been in this location since its construction circa 1959. First introduced in the 1930s, the "motel" is a hotel featuring an auto-centric design. Typically only one to two stories in height, the front facade is defined by a series of doors that denote the individual motel rooms. Rooms open directly out onto the parking area, where an individual parking stall is provided. A small motel office is typically located at one end of the building, as seen as the Parkview Motel.
